Joan Rutaroh is a member of the Board of Directors as well as Ag. MD for EAPIL. She holds a M.Sc. in Agricultural Management from the University of reading UK, together with other qualifications in Agriculture and other Management fields. She has over 35 years’ experience in promoting grassroots community development by providing technical assistance. Joan has worked with UDET as the program Director since 2001 to date, she has also worked as the Country Liaison Officer for ADF, IGAD Desk Officer and Assistant Commissioner for Agriculture- MAAIF. She belongs to a number of both Local and international groups/ Associations namely; International Farm management Association UK, Centre for Farm management UK, International Club- Wageningen, The Netherlands and Rotary Club of Kololo.
Joan has written a set of papers and publications such as; Poverty Action Community Development Foundation Micro Credit Project Paper, West Nile Women’s Micro Credit & Afforestation Project paper, Ministry of Health/ Italian Action plan for nutrition project and many more.
